Once again, VSA Arts helped our individuals to share a stunning presentation with our community.

Very Special Arts has provided our organization and the individuals we serve with wonderful opportunities to enjoy the arts.  From drumming to painting and public performances, the individuals at the Arc of Walker County continue to learn from these experiences.  We look forward to many more rewarding moments with VSA Arts.

Awards 2009

The 2009 Arc of Alabama Awards were presented at the September Awards Dinner.  Two Arc of Walker County nominees received awards at the dinner.  The Arc of Walker County won the Membership Award and the Pilot Club of Jasper received the Distinguished Community Service Award.  Everyone who assists us in providing services for our individuals is a winner, and we are proud of all our nominees.  The Arc is looking forward to another great year in 2010 and will be looking for nominees for the next awards, so keep up the good work.  Congratulations to our winners!
