The Arc of Walker County is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization sponsored by generous individuals and the United Way of America. All donations (monetary, in-kind or particular items) are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Your goodwill allows us to positively impact the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We deeply appreciate all contributions which bring hope into the lives of those who need it the most.
Volunteering
Civic, church, school or youth groups are more than welcome to volunteer to complete needed projects for our organization. Past projects have included:
- Building a privacy fence for an Arc property
- Painting offices and classrooms at the main Arc facility
- Pressure washing community homes
- Lawn cleanup at Arc locations
